AP Literature is a course offered to advanced seniors at Eagan High School.
The AP Literature course is a study of writers throughout the ages and from around the world. Students examine the literary values within as well as the cultural milieu surrounding each work. The focus of the course is will be the development of analytic skills as they relate to each text we study.
AP Literature offers qualified seniors both high school and college credit. The latter is based on an exam in May.
Students may also opt to take a College-in-the-schools Writing course in the Fall from Ms. Strait and/or College-in-the-Schools Literature course taught by Ms. Anderson in the Winter Trimester.
