Welcome to another great year at Eagan High School! I began at Eagan in the 2005-06 school year. I have been teaching Spanish since 1997. Previously I have taught in Bloomington, MN; La Crosse, WI, and Wisconsin Rapids, WI. I have lived in Mexico for 1 year, and Spain for 2 summers. I have also traveled to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Peru. This past summer I took a group pf students to Argentina!  It was an amazing trip and the students and I really learned a lot.  We practiced so much Spanish!  I'll share some of the highlights in class wink

I received my Undergraduate degree from the University of WI - Stevens Point, and my Master's degree in 2002 from the University of Southern Mississippi.  In 2012, I completed my Educational Leadership degree from Mankato.

I married my husband in May 2007.  We enjoy traveling, walking, biking and spending time with friends and family.

We have 2 lovely daughters. Sadie was born in March 2008. She loves to dance and do gymnastics. Laney was born in May 2010. She loves to swim and also dances!  Both girls play a little hockey too.  The girls
are attending a dual immersion Spanish elementary school in Minneapolis.  I love that they are able to learn Spanish at a young age.  Spending time with these girls in the evenings and weekends gives me lots of joy!

I am looking forward to a successful school year! Let's work hard and have fun! ¡Hablemos MUCHO español!
