Lauryn Roszak - North Dakota State - Soccer - Feb. 7, 2018

After an amazing experience being a member of the Eagan High School girls state champion team, I couldn’t be more excited to continue playing soccer in college at North Dakota State University. I’ve dreamed of playing a college sport since I was young. When I was invited by the women’s soccer coach to visit NDSU last summer, I immediately fell in love with the campus, facilities, coaching staff and future Bison teammates. It is sad to think my high school athletic career is coming to an end, but I am extremely grateful to have this opportunity to continue to develop as a college athlete. I’ve been interested in a career in physical therapy, so I plan to major in Exercise Science at NDSU. The path to this point has been filled with hard work, yet so much fun and there are so many to thank for believing in me and getting me to this day. First, I’d like to thank my club soccer coach, Tobbe Thorsell. Tobbe has been such a great coach for the past several years, both with REV and now with MTA. I’d like to also thank our EHS coach, Turk Ozturk, who brought our Wildcat team to the state championship again in 2017. Both Tobbe and Turk guided me through the college recruiting process and I would not be here today without them. My many teammates along the way have helped me become a stronger athlete and made the journey so fun and memorable. And finally I’d like to thank my mom and dad and family members who have been truly supportive of me and my athletic dreams for so many years. Go Bison!

Sara McNicoll - Embry Riddle University - Lacrosse - November 8, 2017

"I am playing division 2 lacrosse at Embry - Riddle Aeronautical University next year. The campus I am attending is in Daytona Beach, Florida, and I am planning on majoring in Homeland Security and minoring in Cybersecurity. There are many reasons I chose this school. One reason is because of how unique the fields of studies are and the location. I have played multiple sports my whole life, but all of them have led me to my love of lacrosse. I would like to thank my family for always supporting me and believing in me, especially my dad. I would also like to thank my high school coaches, Ms. Setter, and club lacrosse coach Katie Sperides. In addition, I would like to thank my future coaches, Coach G, and Coach Ely for giving me this opportunity."..More Information

McKenna Melville - University of Central Florida - Volleyball - November 8, 2017

"I am going to University of Central Florida. When I walked on campus I knew it was the place I wanted to continue my athletic and academic career.  I instantly fell in love with the warm climate and the coaches at UCF.  Volleyball has been a part of my life every since I was born, I grew up in the Eagan Gym.  Volleyball helped me meet some of my best friends and grow up with people who love the same game I do.  Without the game I would not be the person I am today. A huge part of loving volleyball comes with the endless amount of support I get from my coaches, teammates and mostly my family. Thank you for helping me do what I love to do."..More Information

Ally Murphy - North Dakota State University - Volleyball - November 8, 2017

"I will be attending North Dakota State University in the fall of 2018. I decided on NDSU because I fell in love with the campus and the how it feels like a larger school but is a smaller campus. I also really like the girls on the team and the head coach Jenifer Lopez. Academically I chose the school because they have a good Elementary Education program. I would really like to thank my parents for all the support throughout the years. I would also like to thank Kathy Gillen and my teammates. They have helped to push me and make me a better player on and off the court. I would like to thank them them for helping me reach my goal of playing the sport I love in college."..More Information
