Our theme for 2019 is ... "No Going Back."   Preparation for 2019 has already begun! Enjoy reviewing '18 highlights and start making plans for bettering our bests from last season!

On June 9-8 we wrapped up the 2018 athletic year for the Eagan Girls Track and Field team …  and was it ever a great year! We are so proud of our student-athletes for so many reasons.  Below are some highlights from the overall best year for the team since we opened the doors of Eagan High School.

It’s always been our goal to be one of the Top 8 teams in the State and we believe we’ve met that goal this season, in both the State True Team Championships and the MSHSL Championships!

Girls Track and Field Team Accomplishments:
1st Place Section 2AAA True Team Championships
5th Place at the State True Team Championships
2nd Place at the South Suburban Conference Team Championship
1st Place MSHSL Section 3AA Team Championship
4th Place at the MSHSL State Championships

MSHSL State Meet Qualifiers: Natalie Windels-12:  100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump.  Jailyn Robinson-12: 100m Dash, 200m Dash, long jump. Hannah Lamkin-11: 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump. Quinn Bolluyt-9: Pole Vault. Nia Steele-11: Shot Put. Alex Jagler-12: Discus Throw. Morgan Eckerle-9: 400m Dash.  MSHSL All State Performers: Natalie Windels-12: 100m hurdles-1st, 300m hurdles-1st. Hannah Lamkin-11: 300m Hurdles-4th.  Jailyn Robinson-12: 100m Dash-6th. 4x400m Relay:  4x400m Relay: Morgan Eckerle-9, Michelle Passe-12, Hannah Lamkin-11, Natalie Windels-12, Sarah Brechlin-8 – 2nd

Minnesota High School Track Coaches’ Association Academic All-State Award Criteria
Athlete (grade 9-12) must have a GPA of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale and must meet one of the following three criteria: 1) earn All-Conference honors, 2) qualify for the current years State Track and Field Championships or 3) have equaled the Honor Roll Standard posted on the Coaches’ Association web site.
