Speech Performance

This course is for students involved in competitive speaking. In this course students will create and perform an original piece of work (oratory, informative speech, creative expression) or interpret and perform a piece of literature: poetry, prose, humorous, drama duo, extemp reading, storytelling, or drama. The speaking will be done for audiences inside and outside of the classroom. Instructor approval is required for registration. Students are expected to perform three times as well as critique other performances. This course is offered for an elective credit only.
